You are reading this article becasue you have a .co.uk domain name registered with us and you wish to transfer it to a new registrar and your new registrar has asked you to change the IPS tag.
Whilst most other companies make it a hassle for you to swicth .uk registrars, we make it simple and automated. No faxes or phone calls or producing photo id's.
Simply login to your billing account, enter the new IPS tag and you are done.
Follow these simple steps.
1. Login to the client billing area at http://www.ukcheaphosts.com/support
2. Once logged in, in the top of the page find the button that says "My Domains"
3. In the list of domains, find your .co.uk domain
4. Click on the edit icon to edit the domain name
5. Scroll down to the "Release Domain" section
6. Enter the IPS tag of the new registrar and click the Release Domain button
When you execute step 6, as long as the IPS tag is correct and valid, the domain is immediately sent to the new UK registrar. It is not possible to reverse this action so please be very sure that you want to do it.
