You are reading this article because you ARE NOT using the Uk Cheaphosts Nameservers.
Most likely you have a domain name and are using your own nameservers with another provider and pointing the A NAME record to our server.
This is fine and many clients do this but it comes with some small caveats..
- In the event we need to migrate your site to a fresh ip or server, then you would need to manually update the A name record on your dns
- We dont monitor who is using our dns and who is not so cnat send an update to anyone, you will just see your site as being down.
We always suggest to customers who contract hosting with us, that, for convenience they should use our nameservers.
