This page informs you of the UK Cheap Hosts Backup Policy for our shared hosting services
Our backup schedule makes a FULL Cpanel backup, not just files and databases. Each backup is a snapshot of your hosting account at the time the backup was made.
As a courtesy to our customers, we run a weekly full backup on Sunday between 4-6 am with a retention policy of 4 weeks.
NOTE: This backup service is provided to you as a courtesy. Many other hosting companies do not provide any backup at all and usually, you are expected to do this yourself.
Saying that, you should be informed that Uk Cheap Hosts is not really responsible and neither should be responsible for files and/or data residing on your account and by using our shared hosting services you agree to take full responsibility for files and data transferred to and from your account and to maintain any appropriate backup of files and data stored on your account, again, our backup service is provided as a courtesy.
Handling Fee for Restores
In some cases there "may be" a small handling fee when we are asked to retrieve a backup as there is some manual work involved in retrieving backups from our remote backup system however it is at our discretion to charge for that and in most cases we dont charge however dont be shocked if we do.
