As of October 27th 2012, all the prices displayed on UK Cheap Hosts will be displayed in GBP (British Pounds) and this will mean that all prices within billing system will now be charged in GBP.

Since 2006, we have been charging prices in USD but the decision has been taken that from today we will handle UK Operations in GBP.

How does change this affect CURRENT customers?
This change does not affect any PREVIOUS hosting purchases. If you had purchased a hosting account for $12, then we will adjust your billing account to show 8.00 GBP which is appx 12 USD. The same will be applied for domain names. This means any renewals that are coming from now on, will be set as per the list below.

12.00 USD annual hosting accounts will become 8.00 GBP
7.99 USD monthly hosting accounts will become 5.50 GBP
9.95 USD domain names will become 6.95 GBP

NOTE: If you purchase any new hosting services after today, you will be charged at the new rates in GBP as a normal customer, we will not be able to extend any discounts to current customers, its simply not viable, we are sorry. The increases are not drastic in any sense and we are nearly 40% cheaper than our closest competitor!

How does this change affect NEW customers?
New customers will be charged at the rate shown on the web site without discount.

In Conclusion
We understand that for some customers this change represents a small increase in charges (but only ever so slightly), but since 2006 we have never increased our prices, despite increasing our quality of service as well as new investment in hardware and software and especially security.

In order to keep up with everyone else though, we do need to increase our prices slightly so that we can start making more improvments to our infrastruture and grow ourselves.

So, we thank all the current clients that understand this change and if anyone has any questions or doubts, please either raise a support ticket to support@ukcheaphosts.com or send an email via thispresales enquiry form

Thank You
Phillip Jenkins
