We have had to clear out the /usr partition on the HD's of this server and it requires a scheduled reboot in order for the system to recognise the free space.
Server will be down for around 90 seconds during reboot.If we dont reboot, server will fail.
UPDATE: server reboot took 4 minutes in total.
