STATUS: ISSUE MARKED AS RESOLVED

0707 CET - We have been alerted to an issue with this server and our team are working on it.

0715 CET - There appears to be an error with a bug called KPAGE. Our team are continuing to resolve the siutationasap.

0910CET - There is a possible kernel issue with this server which is affecting the HTTP service and Cpanel service. This means that all other services are working but websites wont load. Our team is working hard to resolve this issue and we will update again soon.

0944 CET - There is definetely an issue with the ASL kernel on this server and usual action would be to reboot into an older kernel but seeing that this is a specialised kernel it could be dangerous to do that and might cause a system failure in terms of server coming back up, which we cannot risk. So we have raised a support ticket with ASL (atomicorp.com) and see if they respond quickly. In the meantime the datacenter team is investigating alternative options.

1127CET - A decision to reboor the server was taken so the server was rebooted and all services have come back online as normal, so our team is investigating the cause, however this has been a very strange issue and theoretically a reboot should not have repaired anything, in fact we were expecting it to make things worse but the system is back to normal. We will however liaise with ASl to find out why this happended in the first place. We apologise for any inconvenience caused by this issue.
