1524CET - We have been alerted to an issue which was quickly resolved (within 10 minutes) relating to a partition on the molly server whereby web sites using mysql were showing an error like "Database connection could not be established".
The issue it seems, is that the firewall is supposed to delete logs after 7 days but we found over 10 days worth of logs and the logs were filling up the VAR partition preveting mysql processes from being written.
As mentioned the issue was quickly resolved and we are currently in touch with the firewall software vendor to establish why this happended and to prevent it from happning again.
