0854CET - This is a bizarre one. It seems that two days in a row, the ASL firewall simply decided to "block everyone" (like it threw a fit and decided not to play anymore) so all monitoring services could connect to the servers (becasue they are whitelisted), everything appeared normal except when someone trying to get a site in a browser, the site would not appear. This is why we were not alerted to it right away.

This did not click with us yesterday becasue we simply rebooted the server which must have refreshed the firewall, so of course when one of our technicians disabeld the firewall for a few minutes today, immediately all the sites started responding again.

So, we are carefully looking at this issue right now to gauge the cause, we know its a firewall issue 100% but dont know the reason and we will be contacting atomicorp.com to question them about it and ask for their input.

In the meantime we apologise for the inconvenience and reassure you we are taking this very serioulsy.

End result - we had the support team at ASL check the server and firewall extensively and they were not able to pinppoint the cause of the issue. The server however is operating normally now and we hope the issue does not arise again.
