On one of our servers there is an issue with ftp connectivity since 0525hrs CET.
Our technicians are working to fix the issue and will update us soon.
Websites and emails are working as normal in the meantime.
Update 0900hrs
data centre was contacted and technicians are upgrading ftp server in attempt to resolve issue. Service should be resumed shortly.
Update 1100hrs
data centretechniciansperformed an update of cpanel but it stalled so server was rebooted. reboot took 3-4 minutes. investigation is on going.
Update 1117hrs
issue has been resolved. due to overnight cpanel update its thought that the folder at /etc/init.d/pure-ftpd was converted to binary during update causing an issue for ftp to restart./etc/init.d/pure-ftpdfolder was removed manually, ftp reinstalled and restarted perfectly.
